Hallo Jim,check on the internet the company TERVEER in Zwolle, and look for the Dutch word "dampgas". The big differance is that LPG for your car enters the carburator or injection system still being liqued. You can imagine that you do not want liqued gas in your cooker in your camper (or you have the intention to test the responce time of the local fire-brigade). So it must be vaporized. That special device is not available by "car-LPG". TERVEER at Zwolle is one of the Dutch specialist for "dampgas" in Holland (vaporised LPG) for domestic usage.
There is no electrical pomp involved, it flows/vapors on is own presure, like the common gas-bottles. On our LPG tank is not a level meter installed. For us is one refill a year sufficiant.(€10,00 or about) We cook, heat and have running our refigirator with LPG.
Most people say you can use a tank for 10 (ten) years. Then it should be checked once a year. As there are only regulations for LPG for traction, there are no regulations for LPG for domestic usage, I've been told.
Strictly speaking it is not allowed to refill your domestic LPG tank by a gas-station ("petrol-station for cars"). Let me tell you that I always refill my LPG tank at a regular gas-station. Think almost all LPG domestic user do so. thats the differance between regulations an practical usage.Hope I've helped you a little, don't hesitate to ask more.
